long time...

Ok, so I just realized that the last time I posted was the first day of classes... and ironically today/tomorrow is the last day of classes for the semester. Finals are next week, and I have one everyday. uhhgg. But at least it has come to an end, one more semester then I'm done. Scary thought of me being out in the professional world teaching. ha ha but this weekend I'll post again to have some photos up of my past semester. nothing too exciting b/c I don't have an exciting life but I still have my fun when it is called for! 

Day one of Classes

First day of classes was yesterday and today... Not a big fan of the first day of classes b/c we have to go to them even though the professors are just handing out the syllabus and going over the same thing. Now if you don't show up to the first day of class the professor has the power to automatically drop you from the course. Not cool.

So far my teachers are pretty cool. My language instructor is from Romania. The odd thing about her is the fact that unlike other foreign instructors, you can understand EVERYTHING she says. Speaks beautifully. Another professor is in a band and plays the bass. My history instructor was actually at VA Tech when the mass shooting happened. I know it is only day one but from the books we have to read and other documents, he knows his stuff and is going to make sure we gain an understanding as well. Another instructor is a photographer that is an intense traveller and said, "I'm sure as hell glad we only meet once a week b/c it would suck if we met more than that..." Still have to meet one more instructor, but so far I have some pretty cool instructors that are laid back and come across as professors that are sincere about wanting to help you out if you have a problem. 

I have some photos from my brother and now sister-in-law's wedding. I'm really pleased w/ how they came out. I'm going to be posting those later this week when I'm not reading from my classes. I have to go sell a kidney now on the black market so I have to money for books this semester... 

three's company

so i'm getting back into this blogging stuff... been almost 4 years since i've done the blogging thing. thought about doing the video blogging on youtube.com but don't really know how i feel about that... a bunch of people watching a video of me for no apparent reason... weird. but the reading stuff for some reason i'm ok with that... anyway

i'm going to be living with another girl and guy this next school year... i'm the brown headed one, the other girl is blonde and the guy has brown hair like in Three's Co.  I'm really excited about it and looking forward to it... my parents on the other hand not so much. my dad, surprisingly, has been more laid-back about it than my mom. then again that isn't surprising knowing my parents.  the only things we don't share are the bedrooms and bathrooms... there are 3 of the bedrooms and bathrooms. so i don't think there will be any problems... i'm so pumped about it and i'm moving in some of my stuff this week and next week... YES!!!

this up coming weekend i'm leaving after my summer school class friday to go to savannah, ga for a wedding. i'll arrive in savannah at about 10 or 11 p.m. but the drive will be worth it. but the draining part is that friday in my class i have a midterm and quiz on a book i have to be reading... not fun. so i'll be a little tired for the car ride alone. then that sunday i'll be leaving more than likely around the same time b/c i'm debating on going to church or not at the one i use to go to over there. but anyway...

thats what's goin on so far i need to be reading and studying for this final i have this friday and need to get to reading instead of goofing off on here.
